The SPROUT scenario-building approach is a combination of cross-impact balance analysis <\/span>(Weimer-Jehle, 2006)<\/span> and scenario workshops. Before starting the methodology, it is important to identify the time horizon of the scenarios and to identify the local stakeholders that will participate in the scenario development. It is important to ensure that there is good coverage of the local stakeholders in the process. The methodology is made up of a sequence of steps, as shown below:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
